Setting Up a Package Proxy

Summary

How to authorize someone else to pick up your packages when you can't get them yourself.

Body

Learn how to authorize someone else to pick up a package for you from the Mailcenter.

A proxy designation covers one package. Permanent proxies aren't available. If you have several packages, submit a request for each one.

Set up a proxy

1

Get your package ID

It's in your notification email from mailcent@northcentral.edu.

2

Submit a proxy request

Submit a request through Package Processing & Delivery with your name, your proxy's full name, and the package ID.

3

Wait for confirmation

You and your proxy will both get a confirmation email.

4

Your proxy picks up the package

Your proxy comes to the Mailcenter during office hours with their NCU ID and signs for the package.
