Check your mailbox

1

Find your box

Mailboxes are in numerical order by box number.

2

Open it with your mailbox key

Insert the key fully and turn it to open the door.

3

Close and lock it

Close the door, lock it, and remove your key every time.

Packages don't go in your mailbox. When a package arrives, you'll get an email from mailcent@northcentral.edu telling you whether to pick it up from a package locker or the Mailcenter office.

If something goes wrong

What to do
Someone else's mail is in your box
Don't open it. Bring it to the Mailcenter during office hours.
Your key won't turn
Make sure you're at the right box number. Don't force the key. If it still won't turn, contact the Mailcenter.
Your mailbox is jammed
Don't try to pry it open. Contact the Mailcenter.
The lock feels loose or broken
Contact the Mailcenter so it can be repaired.
You lost your key
Request a replacement through Missing/Lost Mailbox Key. There is a $10 replacement fee.
You need a more accessible box
Contact the Mailcenter.

Keep your mailbox key secure

Your key opens your mailbox and the package lockers. Don't share it, and don't leave it in the lock.
