Body
Learn how to use Microsoft 365 Copilot Chat, the AI assistant included with your NCU Microsoft 365 account.
How to open it
|
|
In Teams
Select Copilot on the left side of Teams. If you don't see it, select Apps and search for Copilot.
|
On your phone or computer
Use the Microsoft 365 Copilot app, signed in with your NCU account.
|
Always sign in with your NCU account
When you're signed in with your NCU account, Copilot Chat includes Microsoft's enterprise data protection. A personal Microsoft account doesn't, so don't use one for university work.

|
The paid Microsoft 365 Copilot license, which works across your email, files, and Teams chats

NCU doesn't buy the extra Microsoft 365 Copilot licenses, so features that need them won't be available. If you see an option to upgrade or buy, you don't need it for Copilot Chat.
Use it safely
- Don't enter sensitive information, such as student records, financial data, or passwords.
- Check what Copilot gives you. It can be wrong or make things up.
- Follow NCU's guidance in Using AI at Work.
