Body

Working a campus job at North Central University? You'll get a separate work account for your job, in addition to your student account. Here's what that means and how to set it up.

Two accounts, two jobs

Your student account
Classes, Canvas, and everything for school
Your work account
Your campus job: department email, files, Teams, and systems your supervisor gets you access to

Each account has its own username, password, and MFA. Never share either one, and don't use one for the other's work.

Getting your work account

1

Your supervisor requests it

If you've worked at NCU before, or work in another department now, tell your supervisor. You may already have a work account.

2

Get your claim code

Your supervisor gives you a one-time claim code in person or by phone.

3

Claim it and set up MFA

Follow New Employee Account Claiming Process. Set up MFA for this account separately from your student account.

Tired of signing out and back in? Use a separate browser profile for each account. See Use Browser Profiles to Separate NCU and Personal Accounts.

When your job ends

Your supervisor closes your work account through the normal separation process. Your student account isn't affected.
