Anyone can open and view them in a browser. No license needed.

Create or edit

Needs a Visio Plan 2 license, assigned by IT. Includes the desktop app (Windows computers and NETPC) and Visio in a web browser.

Microsoft Project

Not available at NCU.

Request a Visio license

1

Submit a request

Use Software Purchasing and Licensing and ask for a Visio Plan 2 license. Include who needs it and what it's for.

2

Wait for it to be assigned

Licenses are limited, so IT assigns them based on need.

3

Watch for an update

IT will follow up through your request once a license is assigned to you.

Just need a quick diagram? Try Whiteboard, PowerPoint, or Microsoft Planner for task flows first. They're included with your NCU account.

Need project management?

Microsoft Project isn't available. For tracking team tasks, see How To: Track Team Tasks with Microsoft Planner.

Problem with Visio?

Already have a license and Visio isn't working? Submit a request through Visio.
