Overview
Learn how to set up Outlook on your iOS device (iPhone or iPad).
Setting Up Outlook on an Apple iPhone or iPad
- Download the Microsoft Outlook app from the Apple App Store, if you haven't installed it yet.
- When the download has finished, tap Open.
- Tap the Get Started button.
- Choose whether you want to receive notifications for e-mail and calendar events.
- Enter your e-mail address and tap Add Account.
- You will be redirected to a North Central login page. Enter your North Central e-mail address and password, and then tap Sign In.
- Tap Maybe Later when the Add Account screen appears.
- Tap Skip when the Focused Inbox screen appears (Read more about the Focused Inbox below).
- You can now access your Office 365 account from the Outlook app on your phone.
More about the Focused Inbox
By default, the Outlook app detects which emails are "more important" to you and splits the Inbox into two areas- one for Focused email and one for everything else deemed "less important".
You can turn this feature off by accessing Settings and deselecting Focused Inbox.
