Overview
Signing out of Windows closes all of the apps you were using, but the PC doesn't turn off. This allows another person to sign in without needing to restart the PC.
Signing out in Windows 10
- Select the Start button.
- On the left side of the Start menu, choose the Accounts icon
- Select Sign out.
