Overview
Depending upon your continuing affiliation with the university, you may lose access to Office 365.
Employees and Students
If you are an employee member leaving the university with no remaining affiliation, you will lose access to your Office 365 email account based on our deactivation cycle. If you have any questions about your status with the university, please contact the university HR department. Please be sure you have backed up any data you have in these applications (e.g., OneDrive for Business) before you lose access to your Office 365 account.
Loss of access includes the inability to utilize Office 365, including, but not limited to:
- Email
- Calendar
- People/Contacts
- Tasks
- Office desktop apps
- Office online apps
Losing access to Office 365 via North Central does not prevent you from registering for your own Office 365 subscription. However, IT does not offer migration services between personal and university accounts.
