How To: Join a Teams Meeting as a Guest

For people outside NCU: how to join a Microsoft Teams meeting from a web browser or the Teams app without an NCU account.

Invited to a meeting with someone at North Central University (NCU)? You don't need an NCU account or the Teams app to join. Here's how.

1	Open the link Select the Join the meeting now link in your invitation.
2	Choose how to join Select Continue on this browser to join without installing anything, or Join on the Teams app if you have it. Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome work best.
3	Allow your mic and camera If your browser asks, select Allow.
4	Enter your name Type your name so the organizer knows who you are, then select Join now.
5	Wait to be let in You may wait in the lobby until someone in the meeting lets you in.

• Can't hear or be heard? Check that your browser has permission to use your microphone, and that the right speaker and mic are selected before you join.
• Joining from a phone? Install the free Microsoft Teams app, then tap the link.
