Summary
Learn how to add a second device to a Microsoft Teams meeting you're already in, like your desktop for presenting, or move the meeting to another device.
Body
Learn how to join a Teams meeting you're already in from a second device, like joining from your desktop to present while you stay on your laptop or phone, or move the meeting to another device entirely.
Join from the second device
While you're in the meeting, join it again from the other device the usual way. Teams sees you're already in the meeting and asks what you want to do.

Add this device
The second device joins with its mic and speaker turned off, so there's no echo. You stay on the first device too.
Presenting or sharing from your desktop while you talk on your laptop or phone
Transfer to this device
The meeting moves to the new device, and the first one leaves.
Switching from your phone to your computer, or the other way around
- On your phone, a banner may say you're in a meeting on another device. Tap Join to see the same choices.
- Using Add this device? Talk and listen on just one device so you don't get feedback.
