Microsoft Teams

Microsoft Teams at NCU

One place for how NCU works together.

Chat with your team, meet from anywhere, make and take calls, and keep every university file in one secure home that follows you from desk to phone.

Everything your team needs, already connected

No switching between apps or hunting for the latest version. It all lives in Teams.

Chat

Quick questions get quick answers. Message one person or a whole group, and keep conversations organized by team and topic.

Meetings

Meet face to face from anywhere. Share your screen, present slides, and sketch ideas on a shared whiteboard in real time.

Files

One version, one location. Edit Word, Excel, and PowerPoint files together at the same time, stored securely in SharePoint.

Calling

Teams is the university phone system. Make audio and video calls to colleagues or groups from your computer or mobile device.

The official home for university business

Teams is NCU's official chat, conferencing, phone, and file platform. Keeping work here keeps it secure, searchable, and owned by the university, not tied to one person's account.

Required

Store all department and official university documents in Teams (SharePoint), and use Teams for university chat, meetings, and calls.

Prohibited

Using any other chat, conferencing, or file storage solution for official university business, including personal cloud storage and consumer messaging apps.
