How To: Share a File Securely from Teams or OneDrive

Summary

Learn how to share a file from Microsoft Teams or OneDrive securely at North Central University by sharing with specific people.

Body

Learn how to share a file from Microsoft Teams or OneDrive so only the right people can open it.

Use Specific people, not "Anyone" or "People in North Central University"

An Anyone link works for whoever has it, with no sign-in, even if it's forwarded. A People in North Central University link works for every NCU account, including every student, if the link is forwarded or posted. Use Specific people unless a file is meant for everyone at NCU.

2
