Body

Learn how to fix Outlook when it keeps asking you to sign in or enter your password.

Changed your password recently? That's the most common cause. Outlook and other apps may still be trying your old one.

Try these in order

1

Sign in and approve

Enter your NCU email and current password, and approve the Microsoft Authenticator request.

2

Restart Outlook

Close Outlook completely, then open it again. Restarting your computer is even better.

3

Sign out and back in

In Outlook, go to File > Office Account (or Outlook > Settings > Accounts on Mac), sign out, then sign back in.

4

Clear saved passwords

Windows: open Credential Manager > Windows Credentials and remove entries that start with MicrosoftOffice. Mac: open Keychain Access, search for Exchange or Office, and delete those entries. Then open Outlook and sign in.

5

Update Office

Install any Office or Windows updates, then restart.

While you work on it, you can always use outlook.northcentral.edu in a web browser.
