Overview
The Delay Delivery feature in Outlook allows for the scheduling or delayed sending of emails.
Setting up a Delayed Email
- In the message window, select the Options tab.

- Choose Delay Delivery in the More Options group.

- Under the Delay Delivery options, select the Do not deliver before check box, and then select the delivery date and time that you want.

- To keep a copy of the message in the Sent Items folder, make sure to check Save copy of sent message.
- Click Close and then Send.
Please Note: After you click Send, the message remains in the Outbox folder until the delivery time.
Changed your mind? Send the delayed email immediately
- In the folder pane in Mail view, go into the Outbox folder.

- Open the delayed message and click the Options tab.

- Click Delay Delivery in the More Options group.

- Under Delivery options, clear the Do not deliver before check box.

- Click Close and then Send.
