OVERVIEW - Teaching, Learning, & Advising Software at NCU

Learn about the software platforms North Central University uses for teaching, learning, and advising, grouped by what each one is used for.

How these systems fit together

Canvas is where coursework happens. Colleague holds official student, course, and financial records, and students and employees work with that data through Self-Service. Salesforce powers Skyline, the university portal, and Student Success Hub, the advising platform.

Several tools, including Panopto and Turnitin, are built into Canvas and are used from inside a course.
