What to Do If You Lose Your Mailbox Key

Request a replacement

Submit Missing/Lost Mailbox Key with your name, ID number, and box number. Report a lost key as soon as you notice it's missing.

Wait for the Mailcenter email

You'll get an email when your replacement key is ready.

Pick up and pay

Come to the Mailcenter during office hours. Bring your NCU ID and a card for the $10 fee.

About your new key

  • Your box number doesn't change.
  • Your new key opens your mailbox and the package lockers.

The $10 fee is non-refundable

The fee applies even if you find your old key later. If you do find it, return it to the Mailcenter.

After you get your new key

Check your mailbox. If anything looks tampered with, or mail you expected is missing, contact the Mailcenter.
