Team Owner Responsibilities at NCU

Learn what you're responsible for as a team owner in Microsoft Teams at North Central University.

Responsibility	Why it matters
Keep at least two owners	If the only owner leaves NCU, nobody can manage the team.
Add and remove members	Remove people who leave the group so they lose access to its files.
Approve guests carefully	Guests from outside NCU can see the team's channels and files.
Organize channels	Create channels for each topic so files and conversations are easy to find.
Keep files in the team	Department files belong in the team, not in a member's OneDrive. See Files @ NCU for Employees.

Make sure another active owner is on every team you own before your account changes.
