Learn how to get back a file that was deleted from a team, or restore an earlier version of a file.
Restore a deleted file

Open the library in SharePoint
In the channel, select the Files tab, then Open in SharePoint.

Open the Recycle bin
Select Recycle bin (in the left menu, or under Site contents).

Restore it
Select the file and choose Restore. It goes back to its original folder.

Restore an earlier version

Find the file
In the Files tab, select More options (…) next to the file.

Open Version history
Select Version history.

Restore the version
Choose the version you want and select Restore.

Can't find it in the Recycle bin? Submit a request through the File Restoration service as soon as possible.
