How To: Join, Leave, or Find a Team

Learn how to join a team, find teams you already belong to, and leave a team you no longer need.

Do this
Join with a code
Select Teams, then Join or create a team. Enter the code under Join a team with a code.
Find a team you were added to
Look in your teams list. If it's not there, check Hidden teams at the bottom of the list and select Show.
Ask to join a private team
Ask one of the team's owners to add you.
Leave a team
Select More options (…) next to the team, then Leave team.

You can't leave a team if you're its only owner. Make someone else an owner first. See How To: Add or Remove Team Members.

Get help

Submit a request through the Microsoft Teams service.
