Hover over the message in a chat or channel.

Select More options (…), then Copy link.

Share it
Paste it into an email, another chat, or a document.

Link to a channel
Next to the channel name, select More options (…), then Get link to channel, and copy it.
People can only open the link if they're in that chat or team.
