Departments are responsible for purchasing the items below. If a consultation is needed before a purchase is made, IT staff can offer assistance via a request to the IT Service Desk.

- iPad Accessories (cabinets, cases/covers, keyboards, cables)
- Microphones/Headsets
- Non-Standard Keyboards/Mice (ergonomic, wireless, etc)
- Non-Standard Speakers (Bose, Pioneer, etc)
- Optical Drives (CD/DVD)
- Special Cables/Adapters (micro-USB, USB hubs, serial adapters, other legacy items)

Technology items purchased through IT
The items below must be purchased through IT. Our staff will assist with the ordering process and installation (if necessary). For the types of items below, standard university models (or upgrades from those that are funded by the requesting department) must be utilized.

- Renewal of existing licenses
- Maintenance on existing licenses (upgrade entitlement)
