Overview
OneDrive for Business is a component of all faculty, staff and students Office 365 accounts. It provides space for cloud storage of files, which are then accessible to you potentially from any internet-connected device. OneDrive, and other 365 apps, can be accessed by going to portal.office.com and logging in with your NCU credentials.
Employees should ensure their work data is stored in OneDrive for Business, and not exclusively on their local PC.
How is OneDrive for Business different from OneDrive?
- OneDrive for Business is a web storage service intended for work-related use at the university. You can use it to share files with colleagues and to process content together with others.
- OneDrive is a personal web storage space offered free of charge. You can gain access to it through your Microsoft account or Outlook.com (personal accounts). You can use OneDrive for storing documents, photos and other files in a cloud service, share them with your friends and even process the content together.
Benefits

A user can easily share files with external guests simply by providing the party’s email address.
