Touchpad is too Sensitive or Mouse Pointer Moves Erratically

Overview

When using a ProBook or EliteBook, the mouse cursor may jump around the screen because your palms are hitting the touchpad.

Solution

1. Press the Windows key.
2. Type Settings.

3. Hit Enter.
4. Click Devices.

5. On the left column, click Touchpad.
6. Adjust the sensitivity under Taps. (Lower means that the touchpad will be less responsive, but less likely to interact with your palm.)
