Request a new shared mailbox or distribution list, or change who has access to an existing one. Shared mailboxes and distribution lists belong to a department or team, not to one person.
Which do you need?
Shared mailbox
A team inbox
Several people read and send from one address, such as a department's general inbox. It shows up in Outlook alongside your own mailbox. Shared calendars work the same way.
|
Distribution list
One address, many people
Email sent to the list goes to each member's own inbox. There's no shared inbox to open.
