Leaving NCU? No longer need a campus mailbox? Properly closing your mailbox ensures a smooth transition and helps us reassign it to incoming students. We'll help you set up mail forwarding if needed and ensure no mail is lost in the transition.

Important Information
Return your key: Please return your mailbox key when closing. This helps us maintain security and allows immediate reassignment.
Check for final mail: Check your mailbox one last time before closing to ensure nothing is left behind.
Set up forwarding: If you're leaving NCU, consider setting up Move-Out Forwarding to ensure you receive mail that arrives after closure.
How to Request
Submit a Mailbox Closure Request with:
- Your name and student ID
- Current mailbox number
- Reason for closure
- Effective closure date
- Forwarding address (if applicable)
Timeline
- Closure processed on your specified date
- Immediate if key returned same day
- Confirmation email within 24 hours
Before You Close
- Update all accounts that use campus address
- Check mailbox thoroughly for remaining mail
- Cancel any subscriptions to campus address
- Set up mail forwarding if needed
- Return key to avoid future issues
