Set Up Your Voicemail

Overview:

In order to receive voicemails, you must first set up your voicemail box with a passcode, greeting, and other settings. This article will walk you through how to do so. 

Setting Up Your Voicemail

  1. Dial x4420 on your phone or 612.343.4420 on an external phone. 
    • If you are dialing from an external phone, you will need to hit # once the voicemail system answers, then enter your extension number.
  2. When prompted for a security code, enter 0000.
  3. You will be prompted to enter a new security code. Enter a new code then hit #.
  4. You will be asked to confirm your security code. Enter the security code again then hit #.
  5. Next, you will be asked to record your name. When prompted hit 2, say your name into the handset, then push 2 again to stop recording. Then, push 5 to save your name. 
  6. Next, you will need to record a personal greeting. This will be played when someone wants to leave you a voicemail. When prompted, push 2 to record your greeting, then push 2 again once you have finished recording. 
  7. When finished, you can push 2 to continue the recording, you can save the recording by pushing 5 or review the message by pushing 6

Congratulations, you have completed the set up of your voicemail box.
