How to Access a Shared Calendar in Outlook for Windows

Overview

It is possible to share your calendar with others at North Central.  If someone has shared their calendar, it is possible to access the shared calendar within Outlook. 

NOTE: To access another person's calendar, that person must have granted you permission to it.

Accessing a shared calendar

  1. Open Outlook.

  1. Click the Calendar tab.

  1. Click Open Calendar, then click Open Shared Calendar.
  2. Enter the name or email address of the person or shared mailbox calendar you wish to access.
    • TIP: Click Name to search for a person in the address book.

  1. Click OK.

The shared calendar will appear side-by-side with your personal calendar.
