Connecting Consumer Devices to the Network
Follow the steps below to troubleshoot Smart Devices/Game Console network connection:
Verify that the user has registered their
MAC Address
to the correct place. All devices are now registered through
devices.northcentral.edu
.
If wireless connection, verify that they are following the instructions from this article:
Connecting to University Wi-Fi - Smart / Consumer Devices
.
If the user has followed the instructions for either and they still aren't connected. Ask for their MAC address (wired or wireless depending on how they are trying to register it), and create a ticket for Aaron. Include the MAC Address.
