University Networks (Wireless & Wired)

The North Central University wireless network consists of two wireless networks available to users to meet the needs of everyone who comes to campus. The University's Wi-Fi covers the majority of campus buildings.

The North Central University wired network (sometime called Ethernet) is available to users to meet the needs of everyone who comes to campus. Network jacks are available across campus.  They can be found in offices, residence hall rooms, and many common areas.  Usage of the wired network requires you to register the MAC address of your device.

Available Wireless Networks

  • NCU-Secure - This network provides wireless access to faculty, staff, students

  • NCU-Guest - Guest network that is available to anyone who visits North Central. Passcode is sent via text message. Connections last for 7 days.  Employees and students should not use this network because some services are not available on this network.
