Learn how to show the same thing on your computer and a classroom projector or conference room TV. This is called mirroring or duplicating.
Classrooms and conference rooms are set to mirror by default. If yours isn't, here's how to switch.
Windows
Press Windows logo key + P and select Duplicate.

Mac
Go to System Settings > Displays, select the projector or TV, and set Use as to Mirror.

Presenting with notes
To see your PowerPoint notes while the audience sees only your slides, switch to Extend instead. See How To: Extend Your Desktop to a Second Monitor.
Leaving a classroom or conference room?
If you changed the display to Extend, switch it back to Duplicate before you go, so the next person's screen shows up.
