Printing to PDF

Overview

In many applications with a Print option, you can make a PDF file. You simply choose the Microsoft Print to PDF from the list of printer choices.

Printing to PDF

Print to PDF in a Windows application:

  1. Click File.

  1. Click Print.

  1. Choose Microsoft Print to PDF as the printer in the Print dialog box.

  1. Click Print .

  1. Name the PDF.

​​​​​​​

  1. Select where you want to save the PDF.
  2. Click Save.

Print to PDF in a Mac application:

  1. Click File.

  1. Click Print.

​​​​​​​

  1. In the drop down menu in the bottom left corner, choose Save as PDF.

  1. Name the PDF in the Save as and Title fields.

​​​​​​​

  1. Select Where you want to save the PDF.
  2. Click Save.
