Network Device Registration

North Central utilizes a whitelist system for network access.  All devices connected directly via an Ethernet port must be registered to gain access. Some wireless devices devices (conumer/smart/consoles) also require registration. 

To register your device, click Register Device, or go to devices.northcentral.edu to register your device's Wired MAC Address on Clearpass.

Common devices that need to be registered

  • Gaming consoles
  • Consumer / IoT Devices (e.g. SmartTVs)
  • Desktops and Laptops

Unsupported devices

Unsupported devices include, but are not limited to:

  • Routers
  • Network gateway/bridging devices
  • Access points
