Students are responsible for checking on the affect dropping a class or classes on their Financial Aid.
Student-athletes must maintain full-time status to be eligible to compete with an intercollegiate team. Please contact the Athletics Department with any questions regarding eligibility prior to dropping classes.
Please note the following policies that apply to class registration for every semester:
- Courses cannot be changed from credit to audit or from audit to credit after the first full week of classes.
- Residential courses that are dropped within the first two weeks of the semester will not remain on academic records. Online courses dropped within the first week of the term will not remain on academic records.
- A grade of ‘W’ (non-punitive to grade point average) will be assigned for a class dropped during the third through the ninth week of the semester.
- Any residential course which is dropped after the beginning of the 10th week of the semester for any reason will receive a letter grade of ‘WF’. Online courses dropped after the third week will receive a letter grade of “WF”.
- The change of schedule becomes effective on the date of receipt in the Registrar’s Office.
- The student is responsible for all academic requirements listed on his or her degree audit sheet. The assigned academic adviser should be contacted with questions regarding schedule changes before they are submitted.
Course fees are non-refundable once the semester has begun. (i.e. music lesson, etc.)
