Software Purchasing and Licensing

Request pricing and/or purchase software. All software orders have to be submitted through this request so that IT can effectively manage the licensing. Submit your request by clicking the Request Service button and filling out the form.

What You Will Need to Make a Request

Before making a request, make sure you have gathered the information below.  If you are not sure what you need, IT is more than happy to assist in scoping and researching a prospective purchase.  Considering submitting a consultation request if you are unsure what you need.

  • Type of software needed.
  • Number of licenses needed.
  • Employee name (if the license is for a specific user).
  • Device location (if the license is for a specific computer for example, in a lab).

If you already have a quote or any documentation, please attach the document(s) to all submitted requests.  However, please understand that IT may pursue alternative quotes.

What to Expect After you Request a Quote

  • IT will respond with a vendor quote.
  • If you decide not to order, the request is closed.
  • If you decide to order, IT will confirm your order and request an account number for the order.
  • IT will order the software.
  • IT will work with you to schedule a time to install/configure the software.
