How To: Install GlobalProtect VPN on Your Personal Computer

You can install the GlobalProtect VPN client on your own Windows or Mac computer so you can reach NCU systems from off campus.

On an NCU computer? GlobalProtect should already be installed. If it isn't, install it from Software Center (Windows) or Self Service (Mac). See How To: Install Software with Software Center.

Download the installer

Go to the VPN portal

In any browser, go to https://vpn.northcentral.edu. Type the full address, including https://, or the page won't load.

Sign in

Enter your NCU username and password. The download page opens.

 

Windows

Download

Select Download Windows 64 bit GlobalProtect Agent.

Open the file

Open the downloaded GlobalProtect64.msi file.

Install

Follow the on-screen instructions.

 

Mac

Download

Select Download Mac 32/64 bit GlobalProtect Agent.

Open the file

Open the downloaded GlobalProtect.pkg file.

Install

Follow the on-screen instructions.
