How To: Add a Printer to Your NCU Computer

Need a specific office printer on your North Central University computer? Here's how to add it on Windows or Mac. This only works on NCU computers. Personal devices can't connect to office printers, but they can print to campus copiers with Mobile Printing.

Windows

1

Open File Explorer

Press Windows key + E.

2

Go to the print server

In the address bar at the top, type \\flawless.ad.northcentral.edu and press Enter.

3

Pick your printer

Double-click the printer to connect. Printer names are based on the model, so match the model number on the printer to the list.

Mac

1

Open Self Service

Search for printer.

2

Install the printer

Find the one you need and select Install Printer. It's added under the name FLAWLESS.

3

Make it your default

Right-click the printer and select Set as Default. If an older copy of the same printer is listed, remove it.

Mac print job stuck?

The printer may be waiting for your sign-in. Look for the printer icon with a notification in your Dock, select it, then select the arrow and enter your NCU username and password.

Printing to a campus copier instead? Select FindMePrinter. See Printing, Copying, and Scanning on Campus Canon Copiers.
