Create an NCU Email Signature

Overview

Email signatures are an easy way to add your contact information to the bottom of your outgoing email messages.  If you use multiple devices, you will have to create a signature on each device. These settings are not shared between Outlook clients.

Use the steps below to create an email signature in Outlook:

Creating an Email Signature for Windows

  1. Click File and select Options.

 

  1. Click the Mail section from the Outlook Options menu and select Signatures.
  2. In the E-mail Signature tab, click New.
  3. Enter a name for your new email signature, and click OK.
  4. Type your information in the Edit Signature box. 
    1. If you would like the signature to automatically appear when you create a new message and/or send a reply or forward, adjust the default signature settings. When you click the down arrow, you should see the name of your signature.
    2. Make any other adjustments as needed.

  1. When you are satisfied with your email signature, click OK.

 

Creating an Email Signature for Mac

  1. Click Outlook drop-down menu and select Preferences.

  1. Click Signatures.
  2. Double-click Untitled and rename the signature, or click the plus symbol to add a new signature.

  1. Type your information in the Edit Signature box. 
  2. Choose whether you'd like your email signatures to be included in newly created messages and replies/forwards. All of your changes will be automatically saved.

 

Creating an Email Signature in the Office 365

  1. Click on the Settings  icon in the top-right corner of the web app.
  2. Click the View all Outlook Settings link at the bottom-right of the window
  3. Select Compose and Reply from the left menu of the window that opens
  4. Type your information in the Edit Signature box. 
    1. The boxes next to the options to automatically include your email signature on new messages you compose, forward or reply to should already be checked. If you would not like your email signature to be automatically included, uncheck those boxes.

  1. When you are satisfied with your email signature, click Save.​​​​​​​

 

Creating an Email Signature in the Outlook App for Android

  1. If you haven't installed the Outlook app, learn how!
  2. Open the Outlook App on your Android device. Tap the menu button  from the top left.
  3. Tap the settings gear icon on the bottom left of the menu.
  4. When you’re in the settings menu, tap on the signature section.
  5. Paste or type your new email signature into the text box provided and then tap the check icon in the top right corner to save the signature

  1. Your email signature is now installed!

 

Creating an Email Signature in the Outlook App for iOS (iPad and iPhone)

  1. If you haven't installed the Outlook app, learn how!
  2. Open the Outlook App on your Android device. Tap the menu button  from the top left.
  3. Tap the settings gear icon on the bottom left of the menu.
  4. When you’re in the settings menu, tap on the signature section.​​​​​​​
  5. Your email signature is automatically saved!
