Permission Denied for IT Service Site

Overview

The permission denied error message may be caused by trying to access articles or services that have restricted access or have been removed. We recommend always signing into the IT service site to ensure you can access everything you should be able to access.

Solution

Make sure you are signed into the IT service site. If you are receiving the error message while you are signed into the site, proceed with the following.

Are you trying to access a favorited service?

If you are receiving the error when you are trying to access a favorited service, the service may have been removed or replaced with another service.

  1. Click the Services tab and browse the list of services to see if the favorited service is still listed.

  1. If the service is no longer listed, remove the service or article from your favorites to avoid future confusion.
  2. If the service is still listed, please submit a TeamDynamix Request to report this error to the IT Service Desk.

Are you trying to access an article or a service that was not favorited?

If you are receiving the error when you are trying to access an article or a service that you did not add to your list of favorites, please submit a TeamDynamix Request to report this error to the TD Admin.
