Overview:
Each service has an online form that you can fill out to request the service. These forms automate a lot of work, which decreases the amount of time it takes for your request to reach the right group and reduces the amount of time for you to get a response.
You can search for a service using the search bar at the top of this page, browse the Service Catalog or view a complete list of services in the Services A-Z page.
How to submit a ticket:
- Use the Service Catalog to find the service you want to request.
- Read the service page for important information. Each service page includes a description of the service, who is eligible to request the service, and any associated costs.
- Click the green button on the right side of the screen. This button will open a form for you to fill out.
- Note: If you are not already signed in to the IT service site, you will be prompted to enter your North Central credentials before you are able to fill out the form. This ensures your request is associated with your NCU account; however, some services may be available to non-affiliated users. These services will not prompt you to sign in.
- Complete the form. Fields marked with a red asterisk (*) are required. If you are unsure about a field, click the question mark to view additional help text.
- Click the Request button at the bottom of the page.
Note: Some services may take you to a form outside of the IT service site. For example, the Room Reservation service form will take you to AssureSpace which is North Central's room reservation system.
What happens after I submit a request?
Your request becomes a ticket and will be sent to the appropriate group who will review your request and either take the required steps to fulfill the request or contact you for more information.
You can view the progress of your ticket on the Home page of the IT service site (read Check the Status of Your Ticket for more information). You must be logged into the IT self service site to view your submitted tickets (read Log Into the IT service site for additional assistance).
