How To: Cancel or Withdraw a Ticket

Overview

If you no longer need assistance, you can cancel or withdraw a ticket in the IT service site.

How do I cancel or withdraw a ticket?

  1. Navigate to the detailed view of the ticket you wish to update. For steps, view the Check the Status of Your Ticket article.
  2. Click Withdraw Request.
  3. Check the reason you are withdrawing the ticket and leave a comment if applicable.
  4. Click Withdraw.
  5. When asked to verify that you wish to withdraw the request, click OK. The page will refresh and the status of the ticket will automatically update to Canceled.
