When working from home, you will want to ensure that you will have access to all NCU related things in order to access information and ensure others are able to get a hold of you. This article will provide you with information regarding every system or article you may need to check while preparing to work from home.
Phone
If you need assistance regarding your office phone, please submit an IT Service Request.
VPN
You can utilize the VPN (Virtual Private Network) to connect to many NCU services while away from Campus. North Central uses GlobalProtect as our VPN Client.
NetPC
NetPC is a virtual Windows machine hosted by North Central that allows you to connect to the universities network and infrastructure. This allows you to access sites or files that you may not be able to access from home, such as your P and/or N drive(s), certain Colleague apps, etc.
Note: NetPC may take upwards of 5 minutes to establish a connection to the virtual environment.

Microsoft Teams
Microsoft teams is a chat-centered workspace where groups and individuals can quickly communicate, meet and share files.

Panopto
Panopto is a video management platform utilized by North Central University to create, upload, manage, and share video and audio files.

Office 365 Suite
Through North Central, you have a license which will allow you to download The Office Suite on any device. The Outlook Desktop app is included within this download.

Installing Software
If you are off campus and need to install Software, NCU has features to assist with that. Please see use Software Center on Windows Machines or JAMF Self Service for Macintosh machines.
TeamDynamix
Team Dynamix, AKA TDX, is the ticketing system used by IT and other departments to process requests and assist users with issues they may be experiencing.
