How To: Track and Update Your TDX Tickets

Learn how to find and follow your TeamDynamix (TDX) tickets, including how to check status, add a comment or attachment, reply by email, and withdraw a request you no longer need.

In this article

  1. Find your tickets
  2. What the status means
  3. Add a comment or attachment
  4. Reply by email
  5. Withdraw a request

Find your tickets

Sign in at it.northcentral.edu, then click View My Tickets on the home page. That opens My Requests, a list of everything you've submitted. Click a ticket to open it.

Older tickets

Go to Services > Ticket Requests. Change Status Class to include closed and cancelled tickets, then click Search.

Submitted for you

If someone else submitted a ticket and added you as a contact, check Include requests that I am listed as a contact on on the Ticket Requests page.

What the status means

  • New: received, not yet picked up by the team.
  • In Process: someone is working on it.
  • Resolved or Closed: the work is done. If the problem is back, add a comment to the ticket or submit a new request.
  • Cancelled: withdrawn by you or closed without action.

Add a comment or attachment

1

Open the ticket and click Comment.

2

Type your comment. In Notify, pick who should get it. The person working your ticket is marked Responsible.

3

Click Save. Your comment shows in the ticket's feed and the people you picked get an email.

To add a file, open the ticket and click Add Attachment, or drag the file onto the Attachments box.

Reply by email

Reply to any TDX email about your ticket and your reply is added to the ticket. Type your reply at the top of the email.

Your reply won't reach the ticket if you:

  • Change the reply-to address. It should be TDXReply@northcentral.edu.
  • Delete the original email text. It contains a code that links your reply to the ticket.
  • Reply more than 60 days after the ticket was created. Comment on the ticket in TDX instead.

Withdraw a request

If you no longer need help, withdraw the ticket so the team stops working on it.

1

Open the ticket and click Withdraw Request.

2

Pick a reason and add a comment if you'd like.

3

Click Withdraw, then OK to confirm. The status changes to Cancelled.
