Before you start
Go to it.northcentral.edu and click Sign In in the top-right corner. You need to be signed in to submit a request.
Submit one request per issue. Two unrelated problems in one ticket slow both down.
Find the service
Every request starts from a service, such as FM Maintenance Request. There are three ways to find one:
Search
Type what you need in the search bar, such as printer. Results include request forms and how-to articles.
|
Home page
Click Submit a Ticket, or pick a department under Department services.
|
Services menu
Click Services at the top of any page and browse by category.
|
Open the service and read its description to make sure it fits. Then click Request Service on the right. Some services list more specific options under that button; pick the one that matches what you need.
Can't find a service that fits? Call the IT Service Desk at
612.343.4170 and they'll open the ticket for you.
Fill out the form

A good description gets a faster fix
- What happened: what you were doing and what went wrong.
- Exact error: the message word for word, or a screenshot.
- Where: the room, device, or system involved.
- When: when it started, and any deadline you're working against.
After you submit
- Your ticket is created and goes straight to the team that handles that service.
- You get a confirmation email from TDXReply@northcentral.edu with your ticket number.
- Some requests need approval before work starts. The ticket shows as waiting until the approver responds.
- Track it any time under My Requests, or reply to any TDX email to add information.
