What TDX is
TDX is where you get help and request services at NCU. Go to it.northcentral.edu to:
Find answers
Search 500+ how-to articles in the Knowledge Base.
|
Request help
Submit a request to IT, Facilities, HR & Payroll, the Registrar, and other departments.
|
Track it
See the status of every request you've submitted and add updates.
|
Requests submitted here go straight to the team that handles them, with the details they need, and nothing gets lost if one person is out. That's why staff may ask you to submit a ticket even after you've called or emailed.
Signing in
Click Sign In in the top-right corner and use your NCU account, the same one you use for email.
Signed out
You can search and read public articles.
|
Signed in
You can also submit requests, see your tickets and favorites, and read articles written for students or employees.
|
The home page
- Search bar: the fastest way in. Results include both how-to articles and request forms.
- Need help? Submit a Ticket opens the list of services you can request. View My Tickets opens My Requests, your list of everything you've submitted.
- Knowledge Base: common starting points, plus every article topic.
- Department services: request forms for departments outside IT, such as Facilities, HR & Payroll, and the Registrar.
The menu at the top works from any page: Home, Services (every request form), and Knowledge Base (every article).
Example search
wireless
Returns every article and request form related to wireless. Short searches work best.
Submitting and tracking requests
Submit
Find the service, click Request Service, and fill out the form. Some forms add questions based on your answers.

Emails from TDX
You'll get an email when you submit a request, when someone updates it, and when it's resolved. TDX emails come from TDXReply@northcentral.edu.
Reply to update your ticket: replying to a TDX email adds your reply to the ticket, so the team sees it. Keep the ticket number in the subject line.
Favorites and sharing
Click Add to Favorites on any service or article you use often, then find it under My Favorites. To send an article or request form to someone, use Share or copy the link: How To: Share a TDX Article or Service. How To: Save TDX Favorites
If something doesn't look right
- "Permission denied": sign in first. If you're signed in and it came from a favorite, that service or article may have been retired; remove it from your favorites.
- A ticket is missing: My Requests shows your most recent tickets. For older ones, go to Services > Ticket Requests and change Status Class to include closed and cancelled tickets. Check Include requests that I am listed as a contact on to see tickets someone else submitted for you.
- No emails from TDX: check your Junk Email folder and the Other tab in Outlook.
- Something on the site is wrong or confusing: share feedback.
